Context
Network Eventos has been organizing corporate events for over 25 years in technology, telecom, government, and innovation, accumulating a vast history of events, sponsors, agendas, galleries, documents, and reports.
The project challenge was to carry out a complete portal redesign while preserving all existing historical structure, ensuring operational continuity, platform stability, and ease of management for the internal team.
The challenge
The main challenge was to complete a full redesign without losing years of accumulated history. The portal had an extensive structure involving corporate events, sponsors, agendas, galleries, reports, PDF documents, and institutional content.
- complete redesign with new layout
- preservation of all legacy content
- complete infrastructure migration
- structural reorganization of the CMS
- preservation of SEO and indexed pages
- operational continuity during the transition
My role
I received the ready-made design (UI/UX) and was responsible for the complete frontend implementation of the new portal. The previous portal had also been developed by me, which brought deep understanding of the content structure, operational workflow, relationship between events and sponsors, and the administrative team's needs.
This continuity helped reduce risks during migration and facilitated the preservation of the company's digital archive.
Frontend structure and CMS
I implemented the entire frontend layer with focus on responsiveness, semantic HTML, accessibility, performance, and modular organization.
Beyond the visual implementation, I also developed an editable administrative structure using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) in WordPress, allowing the content and marketing team to manage the portal autonomously.
- registration of new events
- agenda updates
- sponsor changes
- document management
- publication of PDFs and reports
- maintenance of institutional pages

Rebuilt modules
One of the most important points was the reconstruction of the documents and reports module. It was necessary to reorganize all display logic while maintaining compatibility with legacy content.
- reconstruction of the documents and PDFs module
- multi-day event display rules
- dynamic date logic
- relationship between events and sponsors
- program structuring
- organization of related content

Responsiveness and performance
The portal needed to work consistently across different devices. The frontend was structured with multiple breakpoints in mind, ensuring a good experience on smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and widescreen monitors.
- loading optimization
- structural frontend organization
- component modularization
- rendering improvement
- structure prepared for continuous maintenance
Infrastructure migration
The project involved complete migration of the hosting environment. Everything was carried out seeking to minimize downtime and preserve operational stability.
- backup of the original environment
- cloning of the previous portal
- database migration
- media transfer
- structural validation
- new environment configuration
- DNS switch
